Ehem. Adelssitz, Former noble residence in Regenstauf, Germany.

This three-story hip roof building with rectangular floor plan showcases medieval architecture dating from the 14th century, featuring a tower-like structure that once served as a fortified residence for Bavarian nobility.

Originally constructed in the 14th century as a residential tower, the building underwent significant modifications in the 17th century when the upper floors of the original fortress house were demolished, reducing its original height.

The former noble seat belonged to the Hofer von Lobenstein family and was part of a larger noble complex that included the now-demolished Drackenstein Castle, representing the medieval aristocratic lifestyle in Bavaria.

Protected as an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria, the building currently serves as a residential house and can be visited alongside other cultural attractions in Regenstauf for historical exploration.

Archaeological findings and artifacts discovered in the immediate vicinity of the building are also protected, providing evidence of the site's long historical significance and continuous use throughout the centuries.
