St. Johannes Evangelist, Parish church in Diesenbach, Germany.

St. Johannes Evangelist features an irregular octagonal design with six wooden columns over 10 meters tall supporting the vaulted roof structure, accommodating approximately 250 congregants arranged in a semi-circular seating pattern around the central altar area.

The church was constructed between 1977 and 1979 under architect Alexander von Branca and consecrated on July 15, 1979, by Auxiliary Bishop Vinzenz Guggenberger, originally serving as a filial church before gaining independent parish status in 1985.

The interior houses artwork by renowned artists including Günter Mauermann's granite altar and baptismal font, Josef Hamberger's bronze crucifix and tabernacle, and Erich Schickling's hand-painted glass paintings depicting the 14 Stations of the Cross.

The church offers regular masses and religious services throughout the year with a 29-register Eisenbarth organ installed in 1986, while the adjacent parish center provides facilities for community meetings and educational activities.

The building incorporates three bronze bells tuned to F-sharp, A, and B tones, while the grounds feature a marble fountain called Johannesbrunnen and a bronze relief depicting Diesenbach's history near the main entrance.
