Haus der Identitären Bewegung in Halle, Right-wing political building in Halle, Germany
The three-story building in Adam-Kuckhoff-Strasse contained residential units and meeting spaces for political gatherings from 2017 to 2019.
The property, purchased for 330,000 euros by Helmut Englmann of the Titurel Foundation, served as a center for the local group Kontrakultur Halle.
Regular demonstrations with up to 700 participants took place around the building to protest against the political activities conducted inside.
The building changed ownership in 2020 and transformed into regular residential apartments for families after the previous occupants departed.
Police investigations occurred multiple times due to vandalism incidents involving paint bombs thrown at the building facade.
