The Klingerhaus is a four-story corner building in Leipzig positioned at the intersection of Petersstrasse and Schlossgasse. The building was constructed in 1887 when a soap and perfume manufacturer commissioned architect Arwed Rossbach after acquiring the land in 1858. It reflected the growing prosperity of Leipzig's merchants and their desire to create impressive commercial buildings.
