Amager Strandpark

A 4.6-kilometer beach area features a natural lagoon on one side and extensive sandy dunes with promenades on the other side.

The park opened in 2005 as part of Copenhagen's coastal rehabilitation project, transforming the area into a modern recreational destination for city residents.

The beach park serves as a central meeting point where residents participate in water sports, community events, and outdoor activities throughout summer months.

Visitors can access five beach stations equipped with facilities, including restrooms, food kiosks, and wheelchair-accessible paths leading to the waterfront.

The waters adjacent to the park contain an underwater diving course called 'Sea Witch', constructed in 2007 with artificial reefs for scuba training.
