Djurs Sommerland

Djurs Sommerland is a large amusement park in Jutland with over 60 rides, including roller coasters, water attractions, and family rides spread across the grounds. The park is divided into nine themed areas, each with its own character and focus.

The park opened in 1981 as a small regional facility and grew over decades into one of Denmark's largest amusement destinations. This steady expansion turned it into a major draw for visitors across Scandinavia.

The Viking Land section tells stories from Scandinavian history through its rides and themed designs. Visitors walk through spaces that bring old Nordic traditions to life.

The park offers free parking and electric vehicle charging stations, making arrival straightforward. Rental carts are available, and accessible facilities are provided for visitors with disabilities.

Dinosaurland features 25 life-sized dinosaur models alongside six dedicated rides that recreate prehistoric settings. This collection of prehistoric creatures creates an experience rarely found in other amusement parks.
