Piraten

Piraten is a steel roller coaster in Djurs Sommerland that extends roughly 755 meters along its track with multiple inversions and turns. The ride reaches heights around 32 meters and features two trains with four cars each for the riding experience.

The roller coaster opened on May 1, 2008 and marked an important development milestone for Djurs Sommerland. It held the title of Denmark's fastest roller coaster until 2022.

The name reflects the Piratland theme of the park, where maritime symbols and decoration evoke Denmark's seafaring heritage. Visitors experience a setting that brings the idea of ocean adventure to life.

Riders should be between 140 and 196 centimeters tall to experience the ride. The coaster operates during the summer season from May through October.

The cable lift system sets this coaster apart from many other roller coasters and allows it to transport many passengers hourly. This technical design enables an efficient riding experience for large groups.
