Aïn Témouchent Province

The territory spans 2,376 square kilometers across a fertile basaltic valley with numerous vineyards surrounded by the Tessala Mountains and Wadi Sennêne river.

The province emerged from Sidi Bel Abbès Province in 1984, establishing itself as an independent administrative division with eight distinct districts.

Agricultural traditions shape the region, where farmers maintain extensive vineyards and orchards throughout the narrow valleys of the province.

The province contains 28 municipalities connected through a network of roads, with the capital city Aïn Témouchent serving as the administrative center.

The land features specific basaltic soil compositions that create exceptional conditions for grape cultivation across the numerous valleys.
