Beni Rhenane mausoleum

Local residents traditionally called the site Kerkour LArayis, where future brides performed ceremonies to ensure marriage prosperity before its archaeological discovery.

The underground gallery extends 45 meters with separate compartments accessible through wells, allowing visitors to explore the burial chambers through existing openings.

The mausoleum combines Greek architectural elements with North African burial traditions, demonstrated by its underground passages and above-ground monument design.
