Õisu manor is a single-story stone building with a granite staircase leading to a pedimented entrance, flanked by Italian sculptures representing Justice and Prudence. The complex includes the main house, an arched granary, and stable structures, all set within an English-style park that descends toward Lake Õisu.
The estate was built between 1760 and 1767 and was given by Empress Elizabeth of Russia to the widow of Admiral Peter von Sievers. This imperial connection shaped the home's design and furnishings for generations to follow.
The manor now serves as a vocational school where daily activity fills the historic interiors. The Empire-style cocklestove with brass Russian eagles remains visible inside, connecting the present use to the estate's royal history.
The manor sits beside a lake with a landscaped park that can be explored on foot and offers natural breaks during a visit. Keep in mind that the building currently functions as a school, so access to certain areas may be limited depending on school activities.
