St. Paul's Church, Lutheran church in Viljandi, Estonia
The Tudor Gothic design of St. Paul's Church features vertical stone walls, pointed arches, and large windows that illuminate the interior space.
Construction of St. Paul's Church began after Baron Ungern-Stenberg donated land from his estate, leading to its completion and consecration in 1866.
The church exhibits a notable altar painting titled 'Christ on the Cross' by Karl Christian Andreae, representing 19th-century Estonian religious art.
St. Paul's Church opens Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for visitors and services.
The G. Knauf organ, installed during the church's inauguration in 1866, remains the largest functioning instrument of its type in Estonia.
