Great Hypostyle Hall, Ancient monument in Egypt
The Great Hypostyle Hall is located within the Karnak temple complex, in the precinct of Amon-Re.
It was constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Seti I and completed by his son Ramesses II.
The hall is one of the most visited monuments in Egypt and is a significant cultural heritage site.
Visitors can explore the hall's 134 massive columns arranged in 16 rows.
Its roof, now fallen, was once supported by the highest columns in Egypt.
