Al-Fath Mosque

Al-Fath Mosque is a modern prayer house on Ramses Square with a tall, visible minaret and spacious interior areas for worshippers. The complex includes teaching halls, a library, and a museum that together form a complete religious and academic institution.

The site has served as a religious center since the 7th century when Islamic conquerors settled in the then-village of Um Dunin. The modern building we see today was constructed much later and now defines the Ramses area.

This complex functions as a center for Islamic learning and houses collections of books and rare manuscripts. Visitors can experience how it serves as a place for scholarly exchange and religious education in the community.
