The Al-Sahaba Mosque spans 3,000 square meters with two 76-meter-tall minarets and a copper-colored dome overlooking the Red Sea.
The construction of Al-Sahaba Mosque started in January 2011 and continued until its inauguration by the Minister of Religious Endowments in March 2017.
The mosque incorporates Ottoman, Fatimid, and Mamluk architectural elements, with pillars displaying names of Prophet Muhammad's companions throughout the structure.
The mosque accommodates 3,000 worshippers across two floors, with the ground level for men and upper level for women, including 36 bathrooms.
Six multilingual imams guide visitors through the international Islamic cultural center and library, offering resources from Al Azhar Islamic Research Academy.
