Coves dels Hams, Show cave in Porto Cristo, Manacor, Spain.
The cave system features limestone formations shaped like fishhooks throughout its twelve connected galleries and contains an underground lake called Sea of Venice.
Pedro Caldentey discovered these caves on March 2, 1905, and installed electrical lighting systems, making them the first electrically illuminated caves in Spain.
The caves host daily musical performances where musicians navigate the underground lake in small boats while performing classical compositions by Mozart.
Guided tours cover 500 meters of cave passages and last approximately 40 minutes, with multilingual guides explaining geological formations throughout the journey.
The cave includes an auditorium where visitors watch Genesis, a multimedia presentation projected on rock walls depicting evolution from the Big Bang.
