Platja de Cala Millor

Platja de Cala Millor stretches for about 1.8 kilometers with white sand and turquoise water in a sheltered coastal setting. A paved path runs alongside the promenade, where restaurants, shops, and water sports facilities line the shore.

The area grew from a small fishing village into a developed beach destination during the tourism boom of the 1950s. This expansion transformed the coastline and made the region a popular holiday spot.

Restaurants along the beachfront serve traditional Mallorcan cuisine featuring seafood caught by local fishermen from nearby coastal communities. The food culture here reflects simple, regional ingredients and a deep connection to the sea.

The beach offers sun loungers, parasols, lifeguard stations, and first aid facilities for all visitors. Water sports enthusiasts can use designated zones for swimming, snorkeling, and other activities.

A protected peninsula called Punta de n'Amer juts into the Mediterranean at the beach's edge and acts as a natural windbreak. This formation makes the area sheltered even during rougher weather, allowing safe activities year-round.
