Son Moll

Son Moll is an urban beach in Capdepera with fine white sand and shallow, clear water sheltered by low coastal hills. A wide promenade runs along the shoreline, connecting to the harbor area and lined with restaurants, shops, and service facilities for beachgoers.

The beach emerged during the 20th century as Capdepera transformed from a small fishing port into a tourism destination. Modern facilities and the promenade were added gradually to accommodate growing numbers of visitors over the decades.

The beach serves as a meeting point where locals and visitors gather to enjoy fresh seafood and traditional Mediterranean cooking in nearby eateries. This connection to the sea shapes daily life here, with the harbor nearby reminding everyone of the town's maritime roots.

The beach offers sunbeds, parasols, showers, and restroom facilities with a lifeguard on duty during peak hours. Parking is readily available nearby, and numerous restaurants and bars along the promenade provide food and drinks throughout the day.

Two coastal walking paths depart from the beach in different directions, with one leading to the harbor and another reaching the smaller cove of N'Aguait. These alternative routes offer visitors a way to explore the surrounding coastline beyond the main sandy area.
