S’Amarador, White sand beach in Santanyí, Spain
S'Amarador is a small cove with fine white sand located on Mallorca's southern coast, bordered by dense pine forest and natural rock formations. The beach stretches about 145 meters long and 50 meters wide, sloping gently into the Mediterranean with shallow waters near shore.
This beach became part of Mondragó Natural Park, a protected zone established in recent decades to preserve the southeastern Mallorca coast. The park designation prevented heavy development and helped maintain the area's natural character for future visitors.
Locals favor this cove for its quiet character, viewing it as an escape from the crowded beaches nearby. The small bay maintains an unpretentious, undeveloped feel that mirrors how people here seek simple, unrushed swimming and rest.
Visitors reach the beach by walking on marked paths from the parking area and can use facilities such as showers. Visit early in the morning or late afternoon for a more relaxed experience with fewer crowds.
A paved walking path connects this cove to nearby Cala Mondragó, letting visitors explore multiple swimming spots on a single outing. This link makes it easy to compare different bays and discover new spots within the same area.
