Founded in 1997 as Spain's first museum dedicated to eroticism, the institution occupies nine exhibition rooms in a building along La Rambla.
The museum displays artifacts from multiple civilizations, presenting interpretations of eroticism from ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Oriental societies.
The museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to midnight, with adult tickets priced at 13.50 euros and student admission at 11 euros.
The collection features two original Picasso artworks and exhibits commissioned films from the early days of Spanish cinema made for King Alfonso XIII.
