Armia Arms Industry Museum of Eibar

This museum occupies the fifth floor of a former shotgun factory and displays firearms, motorcycles, and sewing machines. The items come from different local manufacturers and document the industrial evolution of these production sectors.

The collection traces back to an arms school founded in 1914 that initially held over 500 firearms and mechanical works made by students. The factory itself documents how the city shifted from weapons production to diverse industries during the 20th century.

The name reflects the weapons manufacturing that shaped this place and its local identity. The rooms show how residents passed down their craftsmanship skills over centuries while making different products.

The museum has limited hours and is not open every day, so checking ahead is important before planning a visit. Being located on the fifth floor means visitors need to use stairs or an elevator to reach the exhibition.
