Teatro Pradera, Early 20th-century theatre in Valladolid, Spain.
Teatro Pradera was an entertainment hall near the Campo Grande plaza in central Valladolid. The building accommodated theatrical performances, zarzuelas, and film screenings within a single venue.
The venue opened in 1910 initially as a temporary wooden structure for film screenings. A fire in 1920 led to reconstruction, and later modern sound technology and new innovations were installed.
The venue hosted numerous theatrical productions, zarzuelas, musical reviews, and film screenings, contributing to Valladolid's entertainment scene until 1967.
The site was centrally located and easily accessible to visitors. Those attending should note that the venue offered different types of events on various days.
Following a fire in June 1920, the theatre underwent reconstruction and reopened in August of the same year, later introducing sound cinema technology in 1930.
