Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Castilla y León

The Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones features a central hall crowned by a vault and numerous skylights that illuminate interior spaces through stone walls.

The construction of this modern congress palace, designed by architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, took place between 1985 and 1992 with a budget of 550 million pesetas.

The building serves as a central meeting point for intellectuals and professionals, hosting conferences, exhibitions, theatrical performances, concerts, and academic gatherings throughout the year.

The main auditorium accommodates 1,100 people, while a secondary hall holds 400 visitors, with additional smaller rooms available for seminars and workshops.

Natural light enters through a central skylight and filters down the walls covered in local Salamanca stone, creating different lighting effects throughout the day.
