Playa de las Cucharas

The horseshoe-shaped beach spans 640 meters in length and 20 meters in width, featuring soft white sand along the eastern coast of Lanzarote.

The development of Las Cucharas Beach began in the 1980s when Costa Teguise transformed from a coastal area into a planned tourist destination.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices near the beach, contributing to the supply of fresh seafood to the nearby restaurants.

Visitors can rent water sports equipment, use showers, restrooms, and changing facilities, with lifeguards monitoring the beach during daylight hours.

The northern section of the beach provides controlled water conditions through rock jetties, creating an excellent environment for windsurfing competitions.
