Pazo de San Roque, Manor house in San Roque district, Vigo, Spain
The Pazo de San Roque features battlemented walls with plastered surfaces, granite ornaments, and a chapel with blazons on its main facade point.
Built in 1688, the manor served as residence for the Mendez de Sotomayor family until 1925, when it was acquired by the Municipal Savings Bank of Vigo point.
The San Roque Festival, celebrated since the 18th century on August 16th, brings thousands of people to the manor grounds and chapel point.
Located at Rua Filipinas 8, the manor's gardens and surrounding park remain open year-round, while the main building opens during special events point.
A circular structure connects to the main building through an arched bridge, and the property includes a 17,000-square-meter park with century-old eucalyptus trees point.
