Cabana

Cabana is an olive sand beach on the northern coast of Spain in Bergondo with a calm shoreline. The cove stretches approximately 100 meters along the water and extends about 20 meters inland, creating a sheltered space between rocky outcrops.

This stretch of coast has been used for centuries by local fishing communities and maritime traders. The waters around Bergondo were part of established shipping routes that connected Galician ports with trade centers further afield.

Spanish families gather at Cabana beach during summer afternoons, continuing a traditional practice of sharing meals and socializing by the water.

The beach is easy to reach from Bergondo and access is generally open throughout the day. The best time to visit is during calm weather when the water is clearer and the sand feels more inviting.

The beach contains natural mineral deposits that give the sand its characteristic olive color, distinguishing it from other beaches in the region.
