Church of San Ramón Nonato, Neo-Mudéjar church in San Diego, Madrid, Spain.

Church of San Ramón Nonato is a religious building designed in Neo-Mudéjar style, distinguished by intricate brick patterns and arched windows throughout its structure. Twin towers flank the entrance facade and form the most prominent features of the composition.

Architect Luis Cubillo de Arteaga designed the building between 1903 and 1907, blending Spanish Muslim architectural elements with modern church design. Major restoration work took place in 1972, carefully maintaining the original character of the structure.

The church is dedicated to Saint Raymond Nonnatus, whom the local community honors as patron of newborns and midwives. This veneration shapes the religious life and ceremonies observed throughout the year.

The building is located at Calle de Melquiades Biencinto 10 and is accessible to visitors during the week. The Neo-Mudéjar details are best viewed in daylight, so a morning visit allows the brick patterns and arches to be seen most clearly.

The architecture combines Spanish Muslim design principles with modern church-building conventions, making it an interesting example of cultural fusion in design. This blend was somewhat unusual in Madrid at the turn of the 20th century and reflects the artistic diversity of that era.
