Museo del Chocolate de Astorga

The Museo del Chocolate de Astorga is housed in a historic building and displays exhibits about chocolate production, cocoa cultivation, and the history of this product. The museum is easily reached on foot from the city center and the exhibitions are well organized across two levels. Inside there is also a tasting area where you can try the local chocolate production.

The admission ticket comes in the form of an edible chocolate bar, so visitors can literally eat their entry pass. This is a playful idea that reflects the sweet nature of the museum.
