Pont d'Austerlitz, Road bridge near Jardin des Plantes, Paris, France.

The Pont d'Austerlitz stretches 173 meters across the Seine River, connecting the 5th, 12th, and 13th arrondissements through five stone arches.

Initially built in 1801 with cast iron, the bridge underwent reconstruction in 1854 under architects Alexandre Michal and Jules Savarin, who replaced it with stone materials.

The name commemorates Napoleon's victory at the Battle of Austerlitz, with architectural elements including decorative masonry shields adorned with lion faces.

Accessible via Quai de la Rapee Metro station on line 5 and Gare d'Austerlitz station on lines 5 and 10, the bridge serves vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

The structure maintains its original 19th-century stone piers while supporting modern traffic between major train stations Gare d'Austerlitz and Gare de Lyon.
