Schloss Batthyány, Baroque château in Ludbreg, Croatia.

The square-shaped castle features four floors, yellow facades, a central portal, and red-tiled roofs surrounded by an extensive park.

Originally built as a fortress in 1320, the structure was transformed into a baroque castle during extensive renovations commissioned by Count Ludwig Batthyány in 1745.

The castle chapel contains baroque wall paintings created by Michael Peck from Nagykanizsa in 1753, depicting religious scenes and decorative elements.

The Croatian Restoration Institute now operates within the castle, offering exhibitions of historical clothing and cultural artifacts for visitors.

The Saint Cross Chapel inside the castle marks the location of a reported 1411 phenomenon where blood transformed into wine.
