MagicLand, Amusement park in Valmontone, Italy
MagicLand is an amusement park in Valmontone covering 16,000 square meters (about 172,000 square feet) with 38 attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, and entertainment zones for different age groups. The facility divides into themed areas with rides, show stages, and dining facilities.
The park opened in May 2011 with themed areas based on the Winx Club television series through a partnership with ViacomCBS. Over the following years, the facility shifted to independent branding and expanded its offerings with new attractions and shows.
Six different stage performances take place daily on various platforms throughout the park, presenting acrobatics, stunt shows, and interactive theater. Audiences can choose between family-friendly afternoon productions and evening spectacles with special effects.
Visitors can reach the park through regular shuttle buses departing from Roma Termini station and Valmontone, with the main departure point at Via Marsala 71. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and most pathways are paved or asphalted.
The Houdini attraction consists of a fully rotating house structure in which guests experience spatial disorientation through mechanical and visual effects. The building turns on a horizontal axis while visitors remain in fixed seats, creating the illusion that the room moves around them.
