Loggetta, Renaissance loggia at St Mark's Square, Venice, Italy

The Loggetta features three marble arches with paired Corinthian columns, bronze statues, and relief panels at the base of St Mark's Bell Tower.

Following the campanile collapse in 1902, workers reconstructed the Loggetta using half of its original materials, completing the restoration by 1912.

Four bronze statues by Sansovino represent Pallas, Apollo, Mercury, and Peace, reflecting the core values of the Venetian Republic.

The structure operated as a gathering space for Venetian nobles and served as a security post during Great Council meetings from 1569.

Starting in 1734, the Loggetta became the official location for announcing winning numbers in Venice's public lottery system.

Location: San Marco
