San Martino church, Neoclassical church in Riccione, Italy
The San Martino church stands on Corso Fratelli Cervi with a 19-meter tower containing three bells and white-plastered exterior walls.
Following destruction by an earthquake on Christmas Day 1786, the church was rebuilt at its current location and consecrated in 1789.
The interior displays a late 18th-century altarpiece depicting the story of Blessed Alessio Monaldi, who remains interred within the church.
The church maintains regular services as part of Riccione's parish network and welcomes visitors at coordinates 43.994343°N, 12.655134°E.
Local fishermen continue to associate maritime weather conditions with the influence of Blessed Alessio, whose canonization process ended in 1842.
