Aquafan, Water park in Riccione, Italy
Aquafan is a water park built on a hillside in Riccione featuring multiple water slides, wave pools, themed play areas for children, and grassy zones throughout. The layout spreads across the slope with sections designed for different age groups and water activities.
The park opened in 1987 as one of Italy's first water parks. Over the decades it became one of the country's most visited aquatic attractions, drawing hundreds of thousands of people each summer season.
The Walky Cup nightclub inside the park was a launching pad for Italian radio and television personalities who gained experience as resident DJs during the summer season.
Wear comfortable shoes since you'll walk quite a bit on the sloped paths. Bring sunscreen and a towel with you, or plan to rent them on-site, as the sun is strong throughout the day.
The M280 slide combines several thrill elements into a single intense experience and stands out as one of the most exciting attractions. Evening foam parties and performances by international DJs add a lively nightlife dimension to the venue.
