Museo della Moda Napoli - Mondragone Foundation

The Fashion Museum displays over 400 items including fabrics, haute couture garments, wedding dresses, accessories, and religious vestments from the 16th century onwards.

The Mondragone Foundation began in 1655 when Antonio Carafa established it, and the museum later opened in 2003 to honor his wife Elena Aldobrandini.

The museum houses collections from Neapolitan designers Fausto Sarli and Livio De Simone, along with fabrics from the San Leucio factory dating from 1850 to 1950.

Located at Piazzetta Mondragone 18, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, with weekend visits available through advance reservations.

The museum contains religious artifacts including altar frontals and vestments from the 1600s, displaying the intersection between fashion and religious traditions in Naples.
