Palazzo Mellini-Fossi

The palace extends across three levels with seven axes on Via de' Neri, featuring semicircular windows aligned with stone bands throughout the facade.

The site originally contained houses of the da Castiglionchio family until 1439, when they were sold to the Nori family before the Mellini constructed the current palace.

The central facade displays the Mellini family coat of arms, depicting a gold shield with a green band accompanied by three rings of identical color.

A commemorative plaque on the right side of the facade honors Giuseppe Barellai, a medical professional who served as president of the Florentine Medical-Physical Academy.

The palace includes a stone marker representing the Compagnia della Croce al Tempio, marked with the number 22 at the base of the structure.
