Parco naturale regionale Bosco Incoronata

The protected area spans 1,060 hectares along the Cervaro River, featuring old-growth oak forests, meadows, and diverse Mediterranean vegetation.

Established in 2006, this park preserves a remnant of the original Tavoliere delle Puglie forest ecosystem that once covered extensive areas of the region.

The park includes the Madonna Incoronata sanctuary, which receives numerous visitors throughout the year for religious pilgrimages and ceremonies.

Located 12 kilometers from Foggia city center, the park offers marked trails for hiking, nature observation, and educational activities about local flora and fauna.

The park contains centuries-old Roverella oak trees that represent a genetic heritage of the original lowland forests of southern Italy.
