The Lavino Sulfur Springs Park covers 40 hectares in the Province of Pescara, featuring mineral waters that create green and turquoise pools throughout the reserve.

The park area contains the 16th-century Farnese Mill, which operated with three pairs of grinding stones for processing various types of grain until recent times.

The reserve derives its name from the Lavino River, which supplied water to four hydroelectric plants, a sawmill, and five mills during the industrial development.

The park entrance includes a children's playground and multiple picnic areas, with unrestricted access through trails starting from the provincial road to Decontra.

The sulfur springs feed the Lavino River with 800 liters per second, creating distinct water colors and supporting a diverse ecosystem of willows and poplars.
