The initial construction of Chiesa della Santissima Trinità began in 1913 and reached completion in 1956, replacing an earlier chapel from 1517.

The church serves as the main parish of Treporti and belongs to the Jesolo-Cavallino-Treporti vicariate within the Patriarchate of Venice.
Two bell towers stand side by side: a newer one built in 1932 and an original seventeenth-century structure that remains preserved.
