Chiesa della Santissima Trinità

This Roman Catholic church building in Treporti has a main nave with two additional side naves that were added in 1956. Two bell towers rise from the structure, one of which dates back to the seventeenth century.

Construction of this church started in 1913 and was finished in 1956, taking the place of an earlier chapel built in 1517. The older bell tower standing today dates to the seventeenth century and has been kept through several building phases.

Inside you can see a painting of the Holy Trinity by a nineteenth-century artist and wooden statues carved by Valentino Panciera Besarel. These artworks are part of how the local community gathers and celebrates their faith together.

Standing side by side are two very different bell towers: one from the seventeenth century and one built in 1932. These neighboring towers tell the story of how the building grew and changed across different periods.
