The Ossario dei Caduti stands at 1000 meters elevation in Val Sangone, featuring a central chapel covered in grey stone and numerous burial compartments.
The cemetery was built in 1945 by partisan vice-commander Giuseppe Falzone to honor comrades who fell during the Liberation War in the Sangone Valley.
The memorial contains 98 remains, including both resistance fighters and civilians, with 19 compartments dedicated to unidentified partisan soldiers.
The cemetery sits 45 kilometers from Turin, accessible via the Provincial Road that runs along the Sangone stream from Giaveno and Coazze.
The site includes a symbolic burial for Enrico Valobra, represented by a bag of soil collected from Gusen by his son Marco.
