The Ossario dei Caduti di Forno di Coazze is a war memorial located in the valleys south of Turin at 1000 meters elevation. A central chapel faced in grey stone sits at the heart of the site, surrounded by burial compartments that hold the remains of fallen partisans and civilians from the region.

The memorial was built in 1945 by partisan vice-commander Giuseppe Falzone to honor comrades who died during the resistance against occupation in the Sangone Valley. It was created immediately after liberation to preserve the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for freedom in the mountain valleys.

The place serves as a gathering point for local communities to remember those who resisted occupation in the valleys around Turin. Visitors notice how the site connects individual stories of sacrifice to the broader identity of the region.

The site sits approximately 45 kilometers south of Turin and can be reached via the Provincial Road that follows the Sangone stream from the towns of Giaveno and Coazze. The site holds a symbolic burial for Enrico Valobra, represented by a bag of soil that his son Marco collected from a distant concentration camp complex and brought back. This personal gesture shows how people from the region honor their missing loved ones through simple but meaningful gestures.
