Yōga Station, Railway station in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
Yōga Station is an underground railway station on the Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line located roughly 7.6 kilometers from central Shibuya. It features two platforms and processes tens of thousands of travelers each day.
The station opened in 1977 and replaced an older stop operated by Tamagawa Electric Railway since 1907. The previous service ended in 1969 before this new station began operations.
The area around the station mixes residential neighborhoods with local shops and eateries where people gather for daily needs and socializing.
The station is well connected by public transport with direct routes to Tokyo's central areas, offering short journey times to major hubs. Clear signage helps with navigation and bus connections are available at the exits.
The north exit was redesigned in 1993 to create an expanded bus terminal, significantly increasing the station's transportation convenience. This upgrade makes switching between train and bus particularly seamless.
