せんなん里海公園, Coastal park in Hannan, Japan.
Sennan Satoumi Park is a coastal park along Osaka Bay with green spaces, playgrounds, dog-friendly areas, and various activity zones. The grounds combine open lawns with beach access and offer space for different recreational pursuits.
The park was developed as part of a prefectural initiative to reconnect people with the marine environment and create new recreational spaces. This project reflected the desire to make the coastal zone a livable and usable area for the region.
Different zones within the park serve as gathering spaces for community meals and grilling events that are deeply rooted in local traditions. Families and friend groups regularly use these areas for their social occasions.
The site is most easily reached from two different train stations, each offering different starting points depending on which beach area you prefer. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since the grounds are large and need to be explored on foot.
The grounds divide into two separate beach areas with different characters and individual names, each drawing their own activities and visitors. This division allows different groups to experience the park in distinct ways.
