Misaki Park

Misaki Park is an amusement park in Misaki, Japan, that connects multiple zones with rides, animal encounters, and pool areas along the coast. The grounds stretch across a broad area with walkways, a zoo, and an outdoor dolphin show arena right by the water.

The Nankai Electric Railway Company opened the grounds in 1957 to mark the railway's 70th anniversary. Over the decades, the company expanded the park with new attractions and a dolphinarium.

The name comes from Cape Misaki, the southernmost point of Osaka Bay, where the grounds extend. Families use the zoo and shows for weekend outings, while the summer months draw swimmers to the seaside pools.

The Misaki-koen station sits right at the park entrance and is served by Nankai trains from Osaka. Visitors should plan summer months for the pools, while the dolphin shows run year-round.

The dolphins swim in a pool that connects directly to the open ocean and fills naturally with tidewater. This design allows the animals to experience saltwater and tidal currents.
