Yume-Ooka is a large office tower in Yokohama's Konan district that rises to 113 meters and contains 26 above-ground floors and 3 basement levels. The building combines office and retail spaces spread from the second basement level up to the eleventh floor.
Construction of Yume-Ooka started in November 1992 and was completed in March 1997 as part of Kamiooka's urban redevelopment project. The building served as a major landmark in transforming the area into a modern business district.
The tower houses the Konan Ward Cultural Center known as 'Himawari no Sato', which offers performance and exhibition spaces where locals gather for events and shows. These spaces feature rotating displays of regional art and work from area artists.
