Grand Front Osaka Owner's Tower, Mixed-use skyscraper in Kita-ku, Japan
Grand Front Osaka Owner's Tower is a 48-floor residential tower in Kita-ku, Osaka, rising to 180 meters (590 ft). It is part of the broader Grand Front Osaka development and sits immediately next to Osaka Station, combining apartments with ground-level commercial space.
The tower was completed in 2013 as part of a large redevelopment project on the former site of the National Osaka Exhibition Center. The project brought together Mitsubishi Estate Residence, NTT Urban Development, and Obayashi Corporation to reshape this part of the city.
The building houses residential units that reflect how contemporary urban dwellers in Japan choose to live. The mix of different apartment sizes accommodates various lifestyles and appeals to different household needs.
The tower sits right next to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making the surrounding area easy to reach by train from most parts of the city. The ground-level streets and plazas nearby are straightforward to navigate on foot.
The tower is one of the few residential high-rises in Japan built directly on top of a major rail hub, with Osaka Station sitting at its base. This means residents can reach the train platforms in just a few minutes on foot from their front door.
