三重交通名古屋営業所, Transportation depot in Genba-cho, Japan.
The Mie Kotsu Nagoya Business Office is an operational hub in northern Nagoya that manages buses for city routes and the Mie Transport company. The facility houses vehicles bearing Nagoya license plates and coordinates regular services across the urban area.
Until March 2012, the office operated bus routes connecting Nagoya with Kuwana and the Nagashima Onsen resort. Responsibility for these routes was later transferred to the Kuwana Business Office.
The facility represents a new model of public-private collaboration in Japanese transportation, merging municipal and commercial bus operations under one management.
The site is located in Genba-chō in northern Nagoya and functions as a maintenance and administrative hub for bus operations. Visitors can view the exterior grounds, though access to internal areas may be restricted.
This facility was a pioneering example of outsourcing city bus services to private operators in Japan. The model demonstrated how public and commercial bus companies could work effectively together under one roof.
