和歌山市民會館, Music venue in central Wakayama, Japan
The Wakayama Civic Hall features a primary concert hall accommodating 1,406 people and contains ceramic tiles covering its vertical exterior walls.
The Wakayama Civic Hall, designed by Nikken Sekkei and constructed by Tobishima Corporation, opened its doors to the public in 1979.
Throughout its operational years, the venue hosted numerous performances ranging from professional musicians to local school brass bands in its acoustically refined halls.
Located five minutes on foot from Wakayama-shi Station, the facility provided 150 parking spaces and maintained multiple practice rooms across four floors.
From the fourth-floor practice rooms, visitors could observe both Wakayama Castle and the sunset over the Kinokawa River through large windows.
