Oizumi Ryokuchi Park, Public park in Sakai City, Japan

This green space spans 101.5 hectares across Sakai and Matsubara cities, containing three ponds and 320,000 trees from 200 different species.

Established in 1972, the park originated from a 1941 air defense green space plan and became one of the four major green areas in Osaka.

The Kakitsubata Garden showcases 10,000 iris plants of 15 varieties, earning recognition in the Osaka Green Hundred Selection program.

The park features multiple sports zones, rental bicycles, parking facilities, and serves as an evacuation area for 170,000 people during emergencies.

The park contains a 20-meter-long steep slide with a 21-degree incline and Japan's only free-access professional BMX dirt course extending 350 meters.
