Tokuyama was a municipality situated in the Ibi district within the mountainous terrain of Gifu Prefecture in central Japan. The area featured hilly landscapes with scattered settlements and farming communities typical of rural mountain regions.
Tokuyama was established as a municipality on July 1, 1889, initially belonging to the Ono district before eventually transferring to the Ibi district. The municipality ceased to exist on April 1, 1987, when it was consolidated with neighboring administrative areas.
