新京成鐵道模型館, Railway model museum in Matsudo, Japan
The Shin-Keisei Railway Model Museum was a railway museum located on the second floor of Kamihongo Station and displayed model train layouts in different gauges for visitors to operate. Guests could control the trains at the panels and follow the routes of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway in miniature form.
The museum opened in 2003 and operated for nine years as a popular destination for railway enthusiasts and families in the region. The collection documented the development of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway since its founding and provided insight into the railway history of Chiba Prefecture.
The facility included a historical corner displaying documents and photographs chronicling the development of Shin-Keisei Electric Railway throughout the years.
