Matsudo Building

Matsudo Building is a commercial tower spanning 20 floors above ground with 3 basement levels in the city's business district. The structure houses office spaces, a bank branch, an employment center, and a cultural hall for performances and events.

The building was constructed between 1972 and 1974 and represented Mitsubishi Estate's initial major commercial development project in the region. Its completion coincided with a period of economic expansion in Matsudo.

The cultural hall within the complex serves as a venue where residents gather for theater, music, and local performances. It reflects the city's commitment to providing spaces where people can experience and participate in the arts.

The building sits in a central location within the business district and is easily accessible by public transportation. Underground parking is available, and visitors can conveniently access bank services, employment assistance, and cultural events all in one place.

When a major department store closed in 2018, the retail space was reimagined and transformed into Kitemite Matsudo, a fresh shopping destination. This revitalization breathed new life into the complex and continues to attract shoppers.
